About Us
The Victoria Community Connections (VCC) Society was established in 2018 to create quality individualized supports and programming and to support inclusion and community connection. As a family-governed group, individuals and their families pool their knowledge, resources and individualized funding in order to share and leverage resources and increase opportunities for participants to be full citizens included in their community.
Family Governance
Collective family governance is when individuals with developmental disabilities and their family members pool their resources (knowledge, networks, funding, etc.) to provide supports and services to a small group of people.
We have created an organization to provide inclusive supports and programming by sharing our resources and leveraging the many assets in our community.
We have hired an incredible team of staff who work full-time, part-time, and as casuals, and we also welcome practicum students from local universities and colleges.
Our supports and programming are grounded in community and would not be possible without our partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and government.
